I saw this back in D.C. as part of an initiative to get people under 30 to go to the opera and wow, did they pick the right one to get us young adults motivated! Sex all over the place! A hot asshole protagonist! A dead guy who drags you off to hell at the end because you can't keep from mouthing off! Just a great opera all around and I was so thrilled to see it pop up in the tagset. So yes, I'd love something where Il Commendatore teaches Don Giovanni a lesson, by showing him what it means be unwillingly taken. Feel free to go as weird and creepy as you want here – the opera literally ends with a statue coming to life and everyone just sort of accepting it, so any supernatural or religious elements you want to include is great with me!

DNWs: No animal harm, extreme underage, scat/watersports. Given Don Giovanni's proclivities, I'm definitely fine with mentions of his conquests, but please don't make them the major relationship focus of the story (mentioning other canon relationships are fine as well). I really love just the respect Napoleon has for Laurence throughout canon and I've always wanted the “bad” sort of ending where Laurence ends up staying in France. Given his loyalty to England, his unwillingness would make it even more delicious for me, so I'd love something where he's forced into a position he never wanted and Napoleon shows him exactly how much he cherishes him., even if Laurence doesn't want him to. Cue the careful courtship, bestowing gifts, very slowly and carefully turning up the water in the boiling pot that Laurence finds himself in. I've already had some wonderful stories in this fandom, but I'd always love more!

Yeah, normally, I'm all about the hate sex, but I really didn't get into this ship until they did the flashback with Karl Urban in a suit watching Antony Starr walk down the stairs in his superhero suit and I went, "oh, hey, there's my id right there." And then it solidified when they had that conversation in the apartment where Homelander pulled the “last one standing” card and it felt like it should end in either sex or stabbing, or both because we are talking about them, before the finale where they had to team up to save Ryan and yeah, just great times all around. I love that Homelander is clearly more invested than Billy is in having an epic final showdown, and I equally love that Billy is headed right down the rails towards one, loathing every moment of it as he tries to just kill this motherfucker and fails horribly at it. This is my request for mutual dubious/non-con, which I've split apart from my other one.

I do love their mutual animosity and constant struggle over the balance of power , but I'd also love something where Homelander just snaps and decides to end it all. Maybe he's tired of Butcher constantly interfering with his life, maybe he decides that he's in it for the long term and he might as well make sure he has a decent nemesis/lover who isn't falling apart. I'd just love to see something with Homelander in all his delusional glory where he decides to turn the full force of his obsession on Butcher and Butcher realizes exactly what that means – and horrifyingly, it's not just blood and bone (though that does play a key factor).

Perhaps it's a complete and utter rout for him at the end of it all, with Butcher barely left standing, but that doesn't mean the victor can't be magnanimous.
